- Gary along with his wife Debbie pastor Friends First Church in Melbourne. They also lead a successful Accounting & Taxation business. Gary believes in modeling a different way of doing church (to what is the norm today in Australia), that is to see "the whole priesthood" ministering effectively in whatever vocation they find themselves. Gary sees the Sunday "church meeting" as the equipping place to equip able and competent ministers (the whole church) to minister. He believes that when each member of the church does its work, no one will be bored, no one will find themselves irrelevant, and everyone will have purpose, direction & meaning. He says, "This is not a new way of doing church, it is after all in the Bible - have a look at the life of Paul. Paul had his business which connected him with the community, and he preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ with signs following. The result was churches established everywhere he went".
